Description
An old Mercury in a junk yard that I think it's in the city of Solis de Mataojo, department of Lavalleja, Uruguay.
I have a LOT of photos of REALLY OLD cars that I found in Uruguay, I never thought that in Uruguay they have so many old cars, the majority of the cars are abandoned or in junk yards like this one and the majority of the cars in the transit are new (from the 90s to new cars), the majority of the new cars are made in Brazil, they say that the people in Uruguay had much money some decades ago and bought much cars and these cars staied, I think they don't have much foundry industries, being difficult to scrap the cars, ( they don't have any machinery industries in Uruguay), by Uruguay being the country with the highest HDI in the Latin America I thought that would not have many old cars, but I was wrong, the Uruguay is not a rich country and the main economy source is the livestocking passing of the 80% of the economy of the country, but its government is the one of the least nd maybe the least corrupt government of the Latin America, different from Brazil that the actual government broked the country by stealing billions of Reais (1 US Dollar is +- 3 Reais) so are billions of US dollars too.
